Summary: Gee, it sure is hot out there. Might as well wait this heatwave out for some-wait. What do you mean the heatwave is following you guys? What could you possibly...what the Hell is that?

History: A nomadic race of creatures, these jellyfish-like aliens came from the stars, seeking a world they could envelop in pure energy and heat. They made landfall on the Scottish island of Fara, where their ensuing heatwave immediately became a problem.

Notable Kills: They literally make you so hot, you cease to exist. It's almost as bad as the sweat stains on the shirts here!

Final Fate: After a dynamite-related scheme fails, the aliens are almost immediately felled by copious amounts of rainfall. Gee, some invasion.

Powers/Abilities: These aliens can cause full-scale heatwaves that cause lots of damage in the right circumstances. They can even focus this heat into a weapon for direct combat, and are immune to bullets and the like.

Weakness: They are attracted to heavy energy sources, and cannot stand water, or anything else cold.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-They had so much potential, with their heat-related powers, but in the end, a weakness to water is just unacceptable. Maybe it would have been grander while it lasted if they came during a dry season.

Trivia: -The human body can withstand temperatures up to 131 degrees Fahrenheit before giving out (so long as he/she is not dehydrated).

-The original title for this film was "Island of the Burning Damned", but due to confusion with "Island of Terror", the title was changed to "Island of the Burning Doomed".
